9am DEPART from Cowcaddens Rd, opposite the Main Bus Station, university side of road.
10.30am ARRIVE at Drumlanrig Castle
11.00am Coffee and shortbread on arrival
11.30pm Guided history/fine art/furniture tour of castle
1.30pm Soup and sandwich lunch
Free time to explore the 40-acre Victorian style historic gardens: refreshments are available at the Larchwood Cabin (at own expense)
4.30pm DEPART for Glasgow, arriving about 6pm traffic permitting
